Procurement opportunity: Suicide Bereavement & Postvention Service

Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board is intending to follow the Most Suitable Provider Process to award a contract for the provision of suicide bereavement and postvention services in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The service will provide timely, effective, and appropriate emotional and practical support to adults (18+) who are bereaved or affected by suicide, to help the grieving process and support recovery. The service will provide outreach and effective support responses to individuals affected immediately or shortly after a suicide or suspected suicide. The service will provide information on available support networks for families and friends, enabling choice over what to access, such as individual and group counselling and a range of other targeted support. The provision will also include access to postvention support for staff working in mental health and wellbeing services. We envisage the service to be delivered by both statutory and third sector organisations through a collaborative partnership model, delivered both virtually and embedded within local communities.
