Grants of up to £120,000 over 3 years are available to a range of not-for-profit organisations working with disadvantaged children aged 18 and under across the UK, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. Grants are available for core operational costs as well as time-limited projects.
Grants and awards, usually equivalent to £1,500, are available to not-for-profit organisations, including schools, for projects that bring music into communities across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
Grants for medical research, initiatives for children and youth groups, charities supporting those with disabilities, the countryside, the arts, sport, carers groups and animal welfare.
Grants, usually for between £1,000 and £15,000, are available for smaller, non-religious charities which are working to improve the lives of severely disadvantaged children and young people, as well as mentally handicapped adults in the UK and overseas.
Grants of up to £20,000 are available to UK groups or organisations that can deliver youth-led projects and activities with and for young people aged 10-25. Partnership bids are welcomed. Individuals may also apply.
The scheme is open to all schools, registered charities and not-for-profit organisations, with priority given to projects that provide food and support to young people
Grants generally of between £2,500 and £20,000 are available for UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas in the areas of children and young people, elderly, people with a disability, as well as music and cultural organisations.
Non-grant awards of up to £500 are available to provide outdoor learning, training and equipment for schools and early years providers in England, Scotland and Wales.
One-off grants of up to £50,000 are available for larger UK charitable organisations and groups for projects that relieve poverty and assist with the education of young people in rural areas.
