Trustee

CareNow is looking for a Trustee who can demonstrate a commitment to a new charity. They must have an understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship.

Ideally they will have a financial / fundraising background, to ensure the financial stability of the organisation and that CareNow pursues its stated charitable objects and that operational plans and budgets support the vision and strategy.

The Trustee, will work along side other Trustees to ensure the organisation defines its goals and evaluates performance against agreed targets.

Someone who can ensure that the views of stakeholders are regularly sought and considered and there is regular review of the external environment for changes that might affect the organisation.

This is a voluntary role, with the Board of Trustees expecting to meet on a quarterly basis.
