Speak Prevent Violence – opportunity for children and young people to have their views heard

The Serious Violence Prevention Programme has commissioned work to research how best to hear children and young people’s voices in organisations working in violence prevention

It will be working with children/young people and partner organisations to create a framework that outlines practical and evidenced tools and approaches that increase the meaningful participation of young people in organisations working in violence prevention.

The framework will incorporate research into local and national good practice and the voice of children/young people who have lived and living experience of violence.

Below is a poster with QR code to a questionnaire. Please encourage children and young people up to age 25 you work with to complete it…they can be anonymous. There is also the chance for children and young people to take part in focus groups with food provided, and be paid to take part in 1 to 1 interviews.
