Opportunities: Disability

Grants for UK registered charities and not-for-profits working in the areas of alcohol and substance misuse, disadvantaged minority communities, disadvantaged young people, domestic and sexual abuse, homelessness, older people, people with disabilities, prisoners and ex-offenders and people with a visual impairment.

Grants of up to £20,000 are available to UK groups or organisations that can deliver youth-led projects and activities with and for young people aged 10-25. Partnership bids are welcomed. Individuals may also apply.

Project and equipment grants of between £250 and £2,000 are available to UK registered charities working to help relieve poverty, improve health and save lives.

Funding for organisations to give extra support to young people in areas where they may be at risk of anti-social behaviour.

Small grants are available to registered charities and individuals across the UK to enable people with a disability to take an active part in gardening and other leisure activities.

The Headley Foundation Limited offer grants of up to £5,000 to small to medium sized charities working with vulnerable groups.

The Baily Thomas Charitable Fund offers grants up to £10,000, for registered and exempt charities for care of children with disabilities.
