‘The way we talk about Dying Matters’ conference

On behalf of the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly End of Life Education Group please find attached a poster inviting clinical staff from across the system to join us for our annual collaborative event to mark this year’s Dying Matters Awareness Week.

This year, the theme is ‘The way we talk about Dying Matters’. The workshop will focus on the language that we use, and conversations we have, around death and dying – both as individuals and professionals. Our speakers will include: Professor Elena Semino – Lancaster University, Kate Wells -The Ruth Strauss Foundation, Cornwall Coroner’ s Service and more!
