Transformation Cornwall is holding a Community conversation at The Salvation Army about its campaign #keepcornwallcarpeted

Did you know that the majority of people who are moving into a social housing property in Cornwall have no carpet? Previous tenants are asked by their social housing provider to remove their carpet no matter how long they lived in the property or risk getting fined? The cost of getting new carpet fitted for new tenants is leading many people across Cornwall to access foodbanks. The removal of carpet is also creating unecessary waste.
