A Real Living Wage to Challenge Poverty in Cornwall

19 October 2023

In November 2024, recently elected new Chair of Cornwall Food Access Alliance, Anna Corbett of Transformation CPR led her first meeting at Newquay Orchard.

As well as an opportunity for people from organisations working in the area of food insecurity to connect and network, the Alliance’s objectives were reviewed and key action points formulated and discussed.

Members also heard from speakers Tamas Haydu of Cornwall Community Foundation, Simon Fann of Truro Foodbank and Andrew Forsey and Rose Bray of Feeding Britain on the current national picture, funding and campaign updates.
