The Skills Network : Government Funded Qualifications

The courses are all distance learning and take between 8 – 12 weeks. With support from a dedicated Learner Support Adviser and subject specialist Tutor throughout, we will guide you and your employees through to success. The work you submit is all assessment based through our e-learning platform EQUAL, meaning you don’t have to attend college or take any exams.

To be successfully enrolled, learners must:

• Be 19 or over as of 31st August 2024
• Hold a full level 2 qualification (if aged between 19 and 23)
• Have lived in the European Union for at least the last three years
• Not be a current learner with The Skills Network or and other provider
• Not be in full-time education
• Reside in England (have an English postcode) – any learners that reside in Wales will not be eligible for funding
• Not have completed the same course on which they are enrolling before, with The Skills Network or any other provider.

Please be aware funding is allocated based on your individual postcode. Staff can only do one course at a time, however they are welcome to do another after completing (Maximum 4 a year).
