The Natural Flood Management Programme
Grants of up to £200,000 are available to environmental groups, businesses, farmers, catchment partnerships, flood risk management authorities and community groups across England for projects that use nature to increase the nation’s flood resilience by using techniques such as planting trees and creating wetlands to slow and store water to reduce the risk of flooding.
Application deadline: Friday 2023 for Expressions of Interest.
Funder: The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs> (DEFRA).
Who can apply: environmental groups, non-governmental organisations, businesses, farmers, catchment partnerships, flood risk management authorities and community groups in England.
