The Lovelace Trust
The Lovelace Trust is a small, Dorchester, Dorset, based charity that makes grants across England and Wales to children and young people aged 25 and under who are in need, hardship or distress. The Trust has a preference for supporting the relations of its founder, John Lovelace (1743-1806), who was born in Aylesbeare, East Devon.
The Trust awards small grants or makes payments for items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the need, hardship or distress of young people in need. Apart from the relief of poverty, the Trust has also previously invested in the education and training of young people.
To be considered for a grant, individuals should contact the Clerk of the Trust with details of their circumstances and fill in the Data Protection Consent and the Grant Application Form.
Further information, including details about how to apply, can be found on the Trust’s website.
