BDO Charitable Trust
In general, small grants up to £1,000 are available to UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas. The occasional grant of up to £10,000 is also awarded. In the past, the Trust has supported charities working in the areas of animal welfare, dementia, health care, health research, hospices, housing and support for women.
The BDO Charitable Trust is a London-based grant-making charity with 5 trustees. One of the trustees, Daniel Dover, is also a trustee of several other charities, some of which may be grant providers. Details can be found on the Charity Commission website.
The BDO Charitable Trust generally awards small grants under £1,000 with the occasional higher grant. Grants awarded during the year ended 31st March 2022 (the accounts for the year ended 31st March 2023 have not been posted with the Charity Commission) amounted to £68,866. 58 grants were awarded in total.
