West Cornwall Women’s Aid (WCWAid) is seeking dedicated and compassionate women to join our Board of Trustees.
For over 35 years, WCWAid have been providing essential support to women and children who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse. As a trustee, you will play a key role in guiding our mission and ensuring we continue to deliver vital services to those who need them most.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are particularly keen to hear from:
- Women with lived experience of domestic or sexual abuse, including previous users of our services. Your insights and understanding are invaluable.
- Women with backgrounds in governance or legal expertise to strengthen our board and help us navigate the complexities of running a charity.
What’s Involved:
As a trustee, you will:
- Shape the strategic direction of WCWAid.
- Oversee the charity’s operations and ensure we meet our goals effectively.
- Advocate for women’s rights and work to end domestic and sexual abuse in our community.
