We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to manage “Gallos”, our children and young people team. Working closely with the SMT you will be able to plan and lead our children and youth delivery, in line with the evolving needs of the children, young people and families we work with – whilst encompassing organisational priorities.

Trelya is creative and innovative in our approach – and our Gallos work reflects this, the post holder will ensure we are providing a varied programme of arts, music, sports and life skills – whilst also maintaining the tailored, holistic approach which develops emotional wellbeing, community connectivity, safer behaviours and self-belief. Our children, young people and families are bursting with hidden talents, dreams, and possibilities – and the post holder will ensure the Gallos programme provides opportunities and support for these to be discovered and nurtured.

The Gallos Team deliver a wide variety of sessions which are creative, fun and enriching whilst offering opportunity for informal education and self-development. This is a high energy team and the post holder will be expected to bring enthusiasm and flexibility with a desire to deliver the best possible intervention to our young people and families.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an award winning innovative charity, which is leading the way in addressing social exclusion amongst children, young people and their families.

This post is classed as having a high degree of contact with children and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. An enhanced disclosure will be sought through the Disclosure and Barring Service as part of pre-employment checks.
