DO YOU LOVE DOGS AND WANT TO HELP THEM GET THEIR SECOND CHANCE?

St Francis Dogs Home is a well respected dog rehoming charity based in Newquay. Established in 1955, the trustees, staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to ensure that every dog that comes through its doors is treated with kindness and respect and care taken to find them suitable, loving new homes.

The charity is now entering an exciting new phase and is looking for additional trustees to ensure that they continue their amazing work and the plans to become a centre of excellence within Cornwall can be achieved.

We are seeking applicants from all sectors, but would be particularly interested to hear from you if you are a solicitor, have experience of charitable law or governance, corporate fund-raising, marketing/PR, animal welfare, to name a few but we are happy to receive applications from anyone who believes they have a skill or experience which will be of benefit to the charity.

If you don’t feel that you want to be a trustee but have any of the skills mentioned above and could help the charity by giving us a few hours of your time, we would still love to hear from you.
