Peer Mentor

Peer support is based on the recognition that there is no better person to support the path towards recovery than someone who has lived experience and overcome their own personal challenges.

This role has been developed specifically for those who have lived experience of mental ill health.

1 x post 22.5 hours / 3 days per week covering North and East Cornwall. Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2025

The Peer Mentor will:

• Meet clients in their local communities and support them to achieve goals set through targeted pieces of work, identified by a Wellbeing Coach
• Link into the Peer Mentor network
• Keep clear and concise electronic records of all work
