Whole Society Resilience Learning event

Please come and join us for a ‘Whole Society Resilience’ learning and scenario-based event. This is an opportunity to look at emergency planning at your organisation or in your community and start to think about what you do and don’t know in the event of fire, flood and mass power outage amongst other things.

The event is ‘in person’ – with lunch provided – at the Dracaena centre, Falmouth, but is also available to attend remotely as a team from your home or workplace.

What to expect:

On the day, working in small groups, (or online to complete in your team) you will be presented with various emergency scenarios, then given time to work out what you need to know and do in that event of that emergency.

Groups will then share their responses, enabling us to create an emergency check-list template for organisations or communities to complete after the event, tailored to their needs.

Led by Manda Brookman and Andy Brelsford, Volunteer Cornwall and Kirstie Edwards, Cornwall VSF, delegates will also hear from speakers Jess Child, Emergency Preparedness, Risk and Response Lead from the Integrated Care Board, Gitty Ankers, Cornwall Community Flood Forum and the Emergency Management Team at Cornwall Council.

Please arrive from 9.30am for welcome refreshments for a 10am start.
