Volunteering and the Law (Half-Day Workshop, Online)

This four-hour online session is designed to give learners a basic understanding of volunteering & the law. The workshop covers details on the legal requirements for volunteering with an organisation, principles of risk management in relation to volunteering, the differences between agreements, contacts and honorary contracts, information around safer recruitment, and more.

Funding may be available for training through VSF’s Learning Academy, which offers training subsidies for people working or volunteering in the VCSE (Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise) sector in Cornwall. Please contact Lorna Phillips or make an enquiry here.
