Symbiosis Soil Lab: Cornwall Soil Microbiome Free workshops
Free workshops at Treverbyn Community Hall on Thursday 27th Feb and Friday 28th Feb 2025 and funded by Newquay Orchards.
There will be a home-made soup included for lunch and anyone happy to bring along a sharing plate or snacks for 10 will be very appreciated.
The workshops will be delivered by Jake who has multidisciplinary approach towards regenerative agriculture which both excites and inspires towards a more climate resilient and ecologically aligned future. He is a certified laboratory technician with Dr Elaine Ingham’s Soil Food Web Organization.’
The workshops are part of a project named Symbiosis Soil Lab, which specializesin regenerating life back into soils. They share the knowledge gained on the importance of healthy living soils and how soil health can be restored. They act as a facilitator to translate and help understand scientific processes with live microscope sessions. They use direct experience to give a different perspective of soil microbiology and our relationship to the land. This cutting-edge microbiome information is keystone knowledge for solutions in climate, carbon cycle, soil building, nutrient density, human health, and our local economies.
