Mor Media Charity: Creating eye catching social media posts using online design tools in Canva

Mor Media are running half-day workshops that can be attended as a linked series or individually for specific digital skills/software.  Funding may be available for training through VSF’s Learning Academy, which offers training subsidies for people working or volunteering in the VCSE (Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise) sector in Cornwall.

Canva is an online graphic design tool that uses templates and design ideas to help you make social media posts, newsletters, flyers, presentations and posters. It can be shared by your organization and several people can work on the same project. It is a quick way to produce professional looking graphic content and this half day session will guide you through the basics of how to use it.

In this session you will cover – using graphic elements to appeal to your audience/community, planning your posts, setting up brand kits on Canva, using Canva’s templates for different platforms, adding your images and video to your posts, using Canva to create moving GIFs, using Canva for newsletters.
