Make it Better (Mitber) CIC – We support communities to live well through the arts.

We understand that creativity helps us live well, it allows us to contribute make connections and look after our culture. We enable communities to share quality arts activities which we recognise and protect as human rights.

Training opportunities for the VCSE sector.

1. The Active Looking Project has developed a compassionate and creative community that uses looking to create personal change. We are a social prescription that is free for anyone to access, meeting up each month to explore our Cornwall through a lens.

  • This training opportunity will help you set up your own meet ups in your area, decreasing isolation and increasing wellbeing.
  • Learn how a smartphone or camera can be used to support wellbeing for you and your community. Get some photography tips and monthly challenges to share.
  • Engage your creativity, through our monthly Active Looking challenges, workshops and exhibitions.

Half a day training for up to 12 people £175 plus travel

  1. The Wellbeing Wheel Mat has been developed to help demonstrate the value of wider health pathways through the 5 ways of wellbeing. From this mat you can create quantitative data to demonstrate that your project help individuals live happy and healthy lives.
  • This training opportunity will help you use the wellbeing wheel with your clients/patients/staff. It will support you through preparation, practical delivery and the presentation of your results.

All day training event for up to 12 people £325 plus travel – Purchase of wellbeing wheel, counters and data proforma £250

Its use at the end of a session is brilliant, it helps people to reflect on the last few hours and see how being out in nature and with other people supported them to feel better.
