Community Safety Team: Dual Diagnosis Awareness Session – Mid-Cornwall

The Dual Diagnosis Awareness Sessions are open to all Professionals working across the system whose work may affect people with co-occurring mental health difficulties and alcohol/ substance use issues.

The aim of these sessions are to develop a broader understanding of what is meant by the term ‘Dual Diagnosis’, to raise awareness about the risks to this group, and to highlight best practice for care and support. We will be exploring the updated strategic guidance in Cornwall, and what this means to each service.

These sessions will be multi-agency, locality-based, so please book for the area you are working in. More opportunities to attend these sessions will follow over the course of the year.
