CLEAR – Understanding Self Harm
An overview of contemporary knowledge and understanding about self-harm to equip those in front line roles to best support adults who self-harm. It includes an exploration of how we may define self-harm, myths and attitudes, the drivers and function of self-harm, psychological and neurobiological factors, the link between suicide and self-harm and how best to support someone who uses this coping mechanism.
