In a second round of funding, the People in Mind Community Wellbeing Fund has allocated an additional £185,450 to support 16 projects across Cornwall. These projects focus on helping individuals aged 16 and older who are most at risk of poor mental health, self-harm, and suicide.

The aim of the Fund is to provide targeted support to vulnerable populations, addressing mental health challenges through innovative and collaborative approaches within the local community.

A predicted 2,231 people will benefit from Year 2 of the People in Mind Community Wellbeing Fund.

The People in Mind Community Wellbeing Fund forms part of the broader People in Mind programme coordinated and managed by Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum (VSF) and funded jointly by Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Public Health. The grants were allocated by Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF).

The second round of funding, totaling £185,450, was made possible through a contribution of £140,000 from the ICB and Public Health, alongside £45,450 from the Sedel-Collings Foundation.

In addition to this, the Sedel-Collings Foundation generously donated an extra £7,662, which allowed two additional projects to receive funding.
