New report details impact from People in Mind’s Community Wellbeing Fund

17 March 2025

Safe Haven – Cornwall provides a safe private venue for people to come and socialise, make friends and just be themselves in a supportive environment.
A new report has detailed the impact of the first year of awards from People in Mind’s Community Wellbeing Fund, which started in 2023.
The Community Wellbeing Fund (CWF) is managed by Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF) and forms part of the broader People in Mind (PiM) programme which is managed by Cornwall VSF.
PiM is jointly funded by Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Public Health at Cornwall Council, and the CWF grants are awarded to successful applicants of frontline voluntary organisations and community groups who support people that are most at risk of poor mental health, self-harm, or suicide.
The report has now been completed following grants awarded in 2023. It highlights that 17 grants were awarded, worth £185,455. This constituted £140,000 from ICB and Public Health, and £45,455 from the Sedel-Collings Foundation.
You can read the full report below.
The next round of grant funding is due to be launched in partnership with CCF later this year. If you have any questions on the year 1 report or the forthcoming year 3 fund, you can contact the team by email ([email protected])
