NCVO is offering a limited number of free Governance Healthchecks for infrastructure organisations in the voluntary sector.

NCVO is offering a limited number of free Governance Healthchecks for infrastructure organisations in the voluntary sector.

To qualify, your organisation must meet the definition of “an organisation whose principal purpose is to play a supporting, co-ordinating or development role for frontline third sector organisations.”

The healthcheck involves NCVO assessing your governance against the principles set out in Good Governance: A Code for the Voluntary and Community Sector. It includes a half day workshop for your board, and creating an action plan for improvement.

The deadline for applications is Monday 6 September, but the application form is relatively quick and easy to fill out and should be returned to governanceandleadership@ncvo-vol.org.uk.

Where demand for the Governance Healthchecks is high, NCVO will prioritise the award to small infrastructure organisations and to those from subsectors such as equalities, BME, sports, youth, religion, arts, social Enterprise and others.

For more see the NCVO website.

We are happy to work with design agencies and individual designers, including recent graduates.

The designer will be required to work with a pre-existing corporate identity, but be creative in producing work that is appealing to both members of the public and people who work in the voluntary and community sector. In most cases, this will involve laying out text-heavy documents so they are attractive and easy to read.

If you would like to apply, please download and read this design tender information document.

We are interested in your ideas for Cornwall VSF’s design work. If you apply please use the logos, text, corporate colour scheme and images provided below to create an example flyer for the Cornwall VSF Annual General Meeting.

The deadline for expressions of interest is Friday 3 September. If you would like to discuss the tender further don’t hesitate to contact John Holmes on 01872 241584.
