Cornwall Voluntary Sector forum is proud to be formally associated with the following groups, who are all active within the voluntary and community sector in Cornwall (listed alphabetically):

  • Charity Chief Executives in Cornwall (CCEC). This is a relatively new group established to enable networking and peer support for senior managers within Cornwall’s charities. The group is chaired by Martin Pallett, Chief Executive of Cornwall Blind Association.  Further information about the group’s meetings and programme of activities is available from Lydia Billson, our Partnership Officer.
  • Cornwall Infrastructure Partnership (CIP).  This is the local voluntary sector partnership responsible for the delivery of the Government’s ten year ‘Change Up’ programme of capacity building for the third sector.  It has been agreed that this partnership is formally a sub-group of the Forum, and reports back to the forum’s Board of Trustees.  In addition, they produce an annual written report on their work which is presented at the Forum’s Annual General Meeting.  You can download the report for 6th July 2008 here (MS word): Cornwall Infrastructure Partnership report for VSF, and the accompanying Powerpoint presentation. CIP VSF AGM presentation 07.09 The website of the CIP is http://www.cornwallvcs.org.uk/
  • Cornwall Youth Work Partnership. (CYWP).  This is a well established partnership of voluntary youth work organisations active within Cornwall.  They have a Partnership Co-ordinator, Nick Skuse, who is also a Trustee of the Forum.  Their website is http://www.cywp.org.uk/
  • Independent Voluntary Organisations. (IVO). This is a small group of voluntary organisations active within the field of work with children and young people, with a focus on workforce development and training.  The group is chaired by Tom Jane from Penwith Community Development Trust.

These groups have been authorised by our Trustees to make use of our logo, and we regard them as part of our ‘family’.  Where we can, we will seek to support and assist them to drive forward their work, for the good of the voluntary and community sector as a whole.
