We know that you’ve probably seen details about SKiLD training before, through Interlink or in Signpost, but since Kevin Curley, Chief Executive of navca did visit us personally, we thought we’d give it another plug!

Their autumn programme is now up on the Internet, courses are £49 a go, and include lots of stuff about being a development worker, diversity issues and Every Child Matters. One downside is that they are all miles away in London, Birmingham and Manchester. However, if you can get 8 people together, SKiLD will hold one in Cornwall (it says). Details on the SKiLD website. Please don’t ask us why they spell SKiLD like that, we think it’s supposed to be trendy or something. (We wouldn’t really know…)
